Payment methods

Let customers pay the way they want

One integration gives your customers four ways to pay on the secure Padiepal checkout page.

Padiepal CL USD Wallet

Customers pay from their USD wallet and confirm with a one-time code sent to their email.

Padiepal Crypto Card

Customers pay with their Crypto Card and confirm with their card PIN.

Bank cards

Visa and Mastercard payments through Stripe or Flutterwave, completed securely on Padiepal.

Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin, USDT and other coins through CoinPayments, completed securely on Padiepal.

How it works

Go live in three steps

Your Padiepal account is your merchant account. There is no separate sign-up and no card data touches your server.

  1. Create a payment session

Your server calls the API with the amount and order ID and receives a secure payment link.

  2. Customer pays on the hosted page

Redirect the customer to the payment link. They choose a payment method and complete checkout.

  3. Receive a signed webhook

We notify your callback URL. Verify the signature with your secret key, then fulfil the order.

Fees

Your customers pay the fees

All fees are already included in Padiepal. The transaction fee is paid by the customer, so you receive the full order amount.

Signed webhooks

Every notification is signed with your secret key.

Idempotent

Retry safely: the same order is never charged twice.

WordPress & WooCommerce plugin

Install the plugin, paste your API key and secret key, and start accepting payments without writing code.

Generate your Merchant API keys

Enter your business details. You will log in to your Padiepal account to confirm, and your API key and secret key are created on your Developers page.

Generating new keys replaces any keys you created before. Keys are shown only once, so save them safely.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the Padiepal payment gateway free for merchants?

Yes. Creating API keys is free and the fees are already included in Padiepal: the customer pays the transaction fee, not the merchant.

Which payment methods can my customers use?

Customers can pay with their Padiepal CL USD wallet (confirmed with an email OTP), their Padiepal Crypto Card (confirmed with the card PIN), bank cards through Stripe or Flutterwave, and cryptocurrency through CoinPayments.

How fast do I receive my money?

CL USD wallet and CoinPayments payments settle instantly into your USD wallet, Crypto Card payments settle instantly into your crypto wallet, and bank card payments settle after 9 days.

Do I need a separate merchant account?

No. Your Padiepal account is your merchant account. Log in, open the Developers page and generate your API key and secret key.

I am not a developer. Can I still use it?

Yes. Use the Padiepal WordPress / WooCommerce plugin, or hire a Padiepal developer to integrate the gateway on your website or app.

How do I know a payment was successful?

Padiepal sends a signed webhook to your callback URL when a payment is completed. Verify the signature with your secret key, then fulfil the order.
